Tanta Faculty of Pharmacy Participates in the 8th International Conference of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education

   In line with the directives of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, Tanta University President, and Prof. Mona Abde Hhamid El-Aassar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and within the framework of promoting active engagement in quality assurance activities, Asst. Prof. Maisara El-Bosairy, Manager of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy, participated in the 8th International Conference of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), held under the topic: “Microcredentials and the National Qualifications Framework — Bridges Across Borders.”

   The conference was held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, with the participation of a distinguished group of education leaders and quality assurance experts. It took place on 22–23 April 2026 at Al Masa Hotel, Nasr City.

   The conference focused on microcredentials as a key instrument for developing education and aligning its outcomes with labor market needs. This is achieved through supporting the National Qualifications Framework, enhancing digital learning, fostering partnerships with the business sector, and promoting lifelong learning — all of which contribute to improving graduates’ competitiveness both locally and globally.

   The event was attended by a number of faculty members from Tanta University, including: Prof. Sabah Sharshour, Manager of the Quality Assurance Center — Tanta University; Prof. Nahla Omran, Member of the Quality Assurance Center — Tanta University; Prof. Mai Wahba, Manager of the Quality Assurance Unit — Faculty of Engineering; and Asst. Prof. Walaa Eid, Manager of the Quality Assurance Unit — Faculty of Nursing.

  The Tanta University delegation also included students from various faculties. This participation underscores the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to adopting the latest international best practices in quality assurance and academic accreditation, thereby supporting the achievement of institutional excellence.
