My dear students, graduates, esteemed faculty members, and staff,
Welcome to the Faculty of Pharmacy – Tanta University, one of the oldest pharmacy faculties in Egypt and the Arab world. The faculty has distinguished itself through its outstanding performance and continuous development in education and scientific research. The faculty successfully renewed its accreditation for the second time from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education under Decision No. 215, dated 28/3/2022. Additionally, the Faculty of Pharmacy – Tanta University achieved first place in the Tanta University Internal Excellence Award (First Cycle 2022) and ranked among the top ten institutions in the Governmental Institutional Excellence Award (College Category) for 2022 at the national level in Egypt. Furthermore, the faculty renewed its ISO certifications in February 2024, including:

ISO 21001:2018 – Educational Organization Management

ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems

Moreover, the Pharmaceutical Services Center at the faculty obtained two prestigious certifications from the Egyptian Drug Authority:

• Certificate of Compliance of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
• Certificate of Compliance of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)

This makes the Pharmaceutical Services Center the first government-affiliated center in Egypt to receive both GCP and GLP certifications, granted on 17/1/2024. Additionally, the faculty was awarded the Best Institutional Performance Award at Tanta University in 2017.
