Accreditation of the Faculty

• The faculty obtained accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) by Resolution No. (154) on May 22, 2016.
• The faculty obtained re-accreditation from NAQAAE by Resolution No. (215) on March 28, 2022.

Government Excellence Award

• The faculty won first rank at Tanta University in the Tanta University Internal Excellence Award in April 2022.
• The Faculty of Pharmacy – Tanta University was ranked among the top ten institutions nationwide in the Egypt Government Excellence Award (Category) in 2022.

ISO Certification

• In management of educational institutions and quality management systems: The faculty gained the renewal of the ISO 21001:2018 and ISO 9001:2015 certificates.

Best Master’s and Doctoral Thesis Award

• The Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, has continuously won the award for Best Master’s Thesis and Best PhD Dissertation at the university level in the Medical Sciences sector since the award’s inception until today.

International Ranking

• The Faculty of Pharmacy – Tanta University was ranked 351–400 worldwide and 7th locally according to the QS World University Rankings. The QS ranking is based on several key indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations, H-index, and international collaboration.

Pharmacy Practice Licensing Exam

• The Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, was ranked among the top three faculties nationwide in the May 2025 in the Pharmacy Practice Licensing Exam, out of 45 faculties that participated in this national evaluation.

Pharmaceutical Services Center

The Pharmaceutical Services Center is a special unit accredited by the Industrial Modernization Center. Since 1997, it has provided a wide range of pharmaceutical services and consultations.
The Bioavailability Unit at the Center obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2002 from the American company ASR, making it the first center at the level of Egyptian universities to receive this certificate. The unit later obtained ISO 17025 certification in 2015.
The Pharmaceutical Services Center at Tanta Faculty of Pharmacy also received certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) from the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), making it the first government center nationwide to obtain both GCP and GLP certifications.
