On Tuesday, 14 April 2026, the Faculty of Pharmacy football team drew 1–1 in its opening match against the Faculty of Computer and Information team. The match was held at the University Stadium at the Sibirbay University Campus, within the activities of the fifth tournament of the Tanta University President’s Football Cup for the academic year 2025–2026. The event is organized under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University President; Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Magdy Wakouk, University Student Activities Coordinator; and under the guidance of Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid El-Aassar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy—Tanta University, and Prof. Naglaa Abdel Aziz El-Shetany, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and in coordination with Dr. Mohamed El-Qassir, Director General of Youth Welfare Administration at the university, and Ms. Fotna Ziada, Director of Student Welfare at the faculty.

   The Faculty Administration extends its congratulations to the team members and to Mr. Simon Samir Thabet, Supervisor of Sports Activities at the faculty, wishing them continued success in the upcoming matches of the tournament.
