As part of the Faculty of Pharmacy – Tanta University’s commitment to supporting student activities and fostering a spirit of unity and connection among students, the faculty organized a collective Ramadan Iftar for its students. The event was held under the patronage and in the presence of Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid El-Aassar, Faculty Dean and Leader of “For Egypt” Student Group, and was attended by Prof. Naglaa El-Shetany, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and Coordinator of Student Activities.
The Iftar was organized by the Student Affairs Department, headed by Ms. Fotna Mourad Ziada, Director of the Department, in cooperation with the Faculty Student Union and For Egypt Student Group at the Faculty of Pharmacy – Tanta University. The event targeted students of the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm D – Clinical Pharmacy) programs, and was held on Sunday, 1 March 2026.
The event featured a distinctive Ramadan atmosphere that reflected a spirit of familiarity and warmth among students and faculty members. A variety of student activities were also organized alongside the Iftar, including entertainment segments and cultural competitions, which contributed to bringing joy to students and promoting participation and teamwork.
This event was organized within the framework of the faculty’s commitment to developing students’ social and cultural skills, in addition to supporting effective communication between students and the faculty administration.
