The seventh session of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Pharmacy – Tanta University was held for the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aassar, Faculty Dean. It was attended by the vice deans, heads of academic departments, and members of the Faculty Council, in addition to a distinguished group of experienced former deans and vice deans of the faculty. The session took place on Sunday, 15 March 2026, in the meeting hall at the Dean’s Office.

   At the outset of the session, the Dean mourned the passing of Dr. Hany Ahmed El-Khayyat, Secretary-General of the Faculty of Pharmacy – Tanta University, expressing her sincere condolences and praising his dedicated efforts and outstanding contributions during his service, while praying for mercy upon his soul.

   The Council then proceeded to discuss the items listed on the agenda, including reports of the Education and Student Affairs Committee, cultural relations files, and matters related to faculty staff members, in addition to reviewing updates from the Quality Assurance Unit, all of which contribute to enhancing the educational process and advancing institutional performance.

   The council also reviewed reports of the Postgraduate Studies and Research Committee, addressing matters related to the registration of postgraduate students, the formation of supervision committees for master’s theses and PhD dissertations, as well as the consideration of submitted grant applications, within the framework of supporting scientific research and encouraging researchers.

   The session concluded at 1:00 p.m., where the Dean extended her congratulations to the council members on the occasion of the approaching Eid Al-Fitr, wishing them continued success and prosperity.
