Faculty of Pharmacy – Tanta University Participates in the Iftar Ceremony for International Students

   On Wednesday, 25 February 2026, Tanta University organized the Iftar ceremony for international students under the patronage and in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University President; Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; a distinguished group of faculty deans; Dr. Shahira Sharaf El-Din, Manager of the International Students Welfare Unit at the university; and a number of international students from various faculties.

   The participation of the Faculty of Pharmacy — Tanta University — took place upon a gracious invitation from the University President. The faculty was represented by Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aassar, Faculty Dean, and Asst. Prof. Mariam Abu Seif, Manager of the International Students Welfare Unit at the faculty, in addition to several Sudanese international students enrolled in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) program and the Master of Pharmacy (Clinical Pharmacy) program.

   The ceremony featured a joyful Ramadan atmosphere reflecting the spirit of familiarity and fraternity among students. The program included various artistic performances, such as a selection of Ramadan songs and a distinctive Tanoura folkloric show, adding a special celebratory character and bringing joy to the attendees. This event affirms the university’s commitment to supporting and caring for its international students and enhancing their integration into the university community.
