The Faculty of Pharmacy — Tanta University — held the sixth session of the Faculty Council for the academic year 2025–2026 under the chairmanship of Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aassar, Faculty Dean, with the attendance of the Vice Deans, Heads of Academic Departments, and members of the Faculty Council. The session was also attended by a distinguished group of former Deans and Vice Deans of the faculty. The meeting was held on Sunday, 15 February 2026, in the Meeting Hall at the Dean’s Office.

   At the outset of the session, the Dean extended her sincere congratulations on the Faculty of Pharmacy’s achievement of second place in the “Best Environmentally Friendly Faculty” competition at the university level for the academic year 2025–2026. She also conveyed her greetings to the council members on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

   The dean then proceeded to discuss the items listed on the agenda, which included reports of the Education and Student Affairs Committee, cultural relations files, matters related to faculty staff members, as well as updates from the Quality Assurance Unit.

   The council further reviewed the reports of the Postgraduate Studies and Research Committee, and examined matters related to the registration of postgraduate students, the formation of supervision committees for master’s theses and PhD dissertations, in addition to discussing submitted scholarship applications.

The session concluded at 1:00 p.m.
