Under the patronage of Prof. Mona Abdelhamid Al-Aassar, Faculty Dean and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Pharmaceutical Services Center, Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed El-Shahawy — Lecturer of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry and Acting Director of the Pharmaceutical Services Center — along with the center’s staff, received a delegation from the Egyptian Drug Authority. The delegation included Dr. Dalia Salah El-Din, Director of the Stability and Bioequivalence Inspection Unit, and Dr. Mina Mounir, Inspector at the Stability and Bioequivalence Inspection Unit, on Wednesday, 4 February 2026.

   The visit included an inspection of the center’s facilities and a review of the documents related to laboratory equipment, as well as verification of the continued compliance with all licensing requirements for the Bioequivalence Center and Stability Studies. These procedures are taken in preparation for the renewal of the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) certificates.
