The Faculty of Pharmacy at Tanta University held the convening of the fifth session of the Faculty Council in the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aassar, Faculty Dean, with the participation of the vice deans, the heads of academic departments, and members of the Faculty Council. The meeting was also attended by a distinguished group of experienced former deans and vice deans of the faculty. The session took place on Sunday, 18 January 2026, in the meeting hall of the Dean’s Office.

    At the beginning of the session, Prof. Al-Aassar, Faculty Dean, congratulated the esteemed members of the council on the occasion of the New Year. Her Excellency then proceeded to discuss the items listed on the Council’s agenda, which included reports of the Education and Student Affairs Committee, cultural relations files, academic staff affairs, and the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit.

   The Council also reviewed the reports of the Postgraduate Studies and Research Committee, matters related to the registration of postgraduate students, the formation of supervision committees for Master’s and PhD theses, in addition to the submitted scholarship applications.

The council’s proceedings concluded at 1:00 p.m.
