A delegation from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, participated in judging the projects of the Local Science and Engineering Fair (BASEF) for the academic year 2025-2026 for school students in Gharbia Governorate.

The delegation included:

• Asst. Prof. Amira Osama Mohamed Ibrahim — Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry

• Dr. Noha Desouky Fayed Fayed — Lecturer, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology.

• Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud Younes — Lecturer, Department of Pharmacognosy

• Dr. Islam Shaaban Mohamed Ghazy — Lecturer, Department of Microbiology and Immunology

• Dr. Basma Zakaria Mohamed Mohamed El-Khatib — Lecturer, Department of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry

• Dr. Eman Abdel Moneim Ahmed El-Shennawy — Lecturer, Department of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry

    The judging took place at the Faculty of Medicine — Tanta University — on Tuesday, 2 December 2025, covering the fields of Biomedical and Health Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Plant Sciences, with the aim of selecting students qualified to participate in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Science and Engineering Fair (BASEF) for the academic year 2025-2026.
