Executive Director of Tanta University’s Center for Educational Assessment and Evaluation Visits the Faculty of Pharmacy’s Assessment and Evaluation Unit

   Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, and in accordance with the directives of Prof. Sayed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and as part of Tanta University’s commitment to monitoring and enhancing the performance of Assessment and Evaluation Units across its faculties and promoting the quality of educational and assessment processes, Prof. Ibrahim Agamy, Executive Director of Tanta University’s Center for Educational Assessment and Evaluation, visited the Assessment and Evaluation Unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University.

   Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aassar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, received Prof. Ibrahim Agamy on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in the presence of members of the faculty’s Assessment and Evaluation Unit. The visit included reviewing the unit’s workflow and evaluating its performance, examining the mechanisms through which it carries out its responsibilities, and discussing its technical, administrative, and operational needs and requirements, as part of supporting the unit’s ongoing development efforts and enhancing the efficiency of the faculty’s assessment and evaluation system.

   During the visit, Prof. Ibrahim Agamy reviewed the work mechanisms followed by the unit, including the procedures for reviewing and evaluating various examinations, as well as the processes for preparing examinations. He also reviewed the procedures for uploading examinations to the Electronic Examination Center at the Central Library, the mechanism for grading the essay components of examinations, and the responsibilities and duties of the unit’s members, including the mechanisms for distributing work among them.

   The visit also included a comprehensive evaluation of the Assessment and Evaluation Unit from technical, administrative, and operational perspectives, along with a discussion of ways to enhance its performance and address its needs in a manner that strengthens its ability to carry out its responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
