A new achievement is added to the record of student excellence at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University. “Tanta Pharmacy Geniuses” team has qualified for the third and final stage of the second season of the “Tanta University Faculties Geniuses” Competition. The team will continue its competitive journey, representing the Faculty of Pharmacy in the competition’s final rounds.

   The competition is held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, Tanta University President, and Prof. El-Sayed Abdel Azim El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with general supervision by Prof. Magdy Wakwak, General Coordinator of Student Activities, and Dr. Mohamed El-Qasir, General Director of the University’s General Administration for Student Welfare.

   The team qualified under the patronage of Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aassar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, and under the supervision of Fotna Ziada, Director of the Faculty’s Student Welfare Administration. This underscores the Faculty Administration’s commitment to supporting its students and encouraging their active participation in various student activities and competitions, thereby contributing to the development of their scientific, cultural, and intellectual capabilities.

   The second stage of the second season of the “Tanta University Faculties Geniuses” Competition was held on Wednesday, August 27, 2026, at the Center for the Support of Talented and Innovative Students, Faculty of Computer and Information, Sibirbay Campus, with the participation of 14 faculties from across the university.

   During the second stage, participating teams took a standardized written test that consisted of 100 questions covering a diverse range of knowledge and cultural fields. The strong competition, among the students from the participating faculties, demonstrated the high levels of knowledge and general culture of Tanta University students.

   The results of the second stage qualified the “Tanta Pharmacy Geniuses” team for the third and final stage of the competition, allowing the team to continue representing the faculty in the final rounds following its outstanding performance in the second stage.

   The Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, extends its sincere congratulations to the members of the “Tanta Pharmacy Geniuses” team on this achievement, wishing them continued success in the third and final stage and further accomplishments that uphold the distinguished name of the faculty and its students.
