As part of Tanta Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to applying quality standards and enhancing the level of services provided, the faculty received the ISO 9001:2015 certification for the Drug and Poison Information Center on Sunday, August 9, 2026. This step underscores the center’s efforts to apply quality standards and further develop its work processes and services.

   The certification was received under the auspices and in the presence of Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid El-Aassar, Dean of Tanta Faculty of Pharmacy, and in the presence of Prof. Sherin Hammad, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Basant Maher Mahboub, Manager of the Drug and Poison Information Center; and Mr. Mahmoud El-Olaimi, Director of Egyptian Co. for Certification System, the certification body that awarded the certificate, along with the center’s staff.
