Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aassar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, received on Monday, 22 June 2026, Prof. Mithat Dierk, Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Agriculture, Selcuk University, Turkey. The visit was attended by Asst. Prof. Maysara Mohamed El-Aziz El-Boseiry, Acting Manager of the Quality Assurance Unit at the faculty.

   The visit was also attended by Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed, Professor of Agricultural Economics at the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, along with a number of faculty members and researchers from the faculties of agriculture and nursing. The visit took place within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed by both Tanta University and Selcuk University, Turkey, and in implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey.

   During the visit, the guest was introduced to the educational and research capabilities of the Faculty of Pharmacy. The tour included visits to the Central Research Laboratory and the Quality Assurance Unit to review the latest research facilities and the mechanisms for implementing quality and academic accreditation standards, thereby contributing to strengthening academic and research cooperation and promoting the exchange of expertise between both sides.

    This visit reflects Tanta University's commitment to enhancing international collaboration and fostering partnerships with distinguished universities and academic institutions, thereby supporting the development of the educational and research process and improving the quality of the academic services provided.
