Tanta Faculty of Pharmacy Students Participate in the "Start Initiative for Youth" at the Grand Egyptian Museum

    As part of Tanta University's commitment to supporting its students' participation in national initiatives and development programs aimed at empowering young people and enhancing their capabilities, a number of students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, participated in the activities of the "Start Initiative for Youth", organized jointly by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Social Solidarity at the Grand Egyptian Museum, in the presence of several ministers, senior officials, and public figures.

   The student delegation included Noran El-Sayed El-Azzab (Level Five), Nour Amr El-Bassiouny (Level Four), and Mohamed Ahmed Khattab (Level Three), all enrolled in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Program, in addition to Mahmoud Ahmed Salloum (Level Four), who is enrolled in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (PharmD) – Clinical Pharmacy Program.

   The students' participation reflects the faculty's keenness on encouraging its students to engage in national initiatives and community activities that contribute to the development of their personal and leadership skills and enhance their awareness of developmental and societal issues, thereby supporting their role as active young citizens capable of making positive contributions to society.

   The initiative featured a series of meetings and interactive sessions addressing youth empowerment, capacity building, entrepreneurship, and volunteer work, in addition to presenting successful youth stories that inspire participants to innovate and actively contribute to the development process.

   This participation underscores the Faculty of Pharmacy's commitment to providing its students with diverse educational and training opportunities beyond the academic study contributing to the development of their personalities, the refinement of their skills, and the enhancement of their leadership and teamwork abilities. This commitment stems from the faculty's mission to prepare academically, professionally, and socially qualified graduates capable of contributing effectively to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt's vision for human development and youth empowerment.
