The Faculty of Pharmacy Council at Tanta University held its tenth session for the 2025–2026 academic year on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, chaired by Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aassar, Faculty Dean. The meeting was attended by the vice deans, heads of academic departments, and members of the Faculty Council, in addition to a distinguished group of former deans and vice deans. The session was held in the Meeting Hall at the Dean’s Office.
In the beginning of the session, the Dean extended her congratulations to the Council members on the occasion of the approach of the New Hijri Year, wishing everyone prosperity, blessings, and continued success.
The Council then proceeded to discuss the items listed on the agenda, including reviewing the reports of the Education and Student Affairs Committee, following up on cultural relations files, and considering matters related to faculty members, in addition to discussing issues concerning the Quality Assurance Unit, as part of the faculty’s commitment to developing the educational process and enhancing the quality of academic and administrative performance.
The Council also reviewed the reports of the Postgraduate Studies and Research Committee. They included a number of issues related to the registration of postgraduate students, along with the formation of supervision committees and judgment and discussion committees for master's theses and PhD dissertations. In addition, applications for scholarships were considered, contributing to the support of the scientific research system and encouraging researchers to achieve excellence and innovation.
During the session, the Council emphasized the importance of continuing efforts aimed at advancing the educational and research systems and enhancing the faculty’s academic and research stature in line with the university’s vision and strategic objectives.
The session concluded at 1:30 p.m., after all agenda items had been discussed and the necessary recommendations and decisions had been made.
