As part of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University’s commitment to supporting student activities and enhancing the participation of international students in cultural and academic events, a delegation of international students from the faculty took part, within the delegation of Tanta University, in the activities of the “Civilizations Forum on the Land of Civilizations – Bride of Upper Egypt,” organized by Minia University from April 5 to 7, 2026, in celebration of the university’s golden jubilee and the 50th anniversary of its establishment.
The participation of the Faculty of Pharmacy reflected the faculty’s keenness to support international students and provide them with opportunities to engage in cultural and student forums that contribute to developing their skills and enhancing their integration within the university community.
The forum also featured a variety of cultural, artistic, and heritage activities during the grand celebration organized by Minia University to inaugurate the event. These activities showcased the civilizations and cultures of different nations and provided international students with the opportunity to express their cultural identities and national heritage, thereby fostering cultural interaction and civilizational dialogue among participants.
In addition, the activities offered visitors and students a valuable opportunity to explore global cultural diversity in an atmosphere reflecting the spirit of coexistence and openness among different nationalities. The program also included several tourist visits to archaeological and tourist landmarks in Minia Governorate, highlighting the region’s rich historical and cultural heritage.
