Under the patronage and in the presence of Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aassar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, and with the attendance of Asst. Prof. Maisara Mohamed El-Bousiry, Assistant Professor at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology and Acting Manager of the Quality Assurance Unit at the faculty, Dr. Basant Maher Mahboub, Manager of the Drug and Poison Information Center, received on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Dr. Sherif Meshit, Auditor and Reviewer at Egyptian Co. for Certification System, the certification body granting the ISO certificate, along with Mr. Mahmoud El-Oliemy, Company Manager, and Dr. Shorouk Saad, representative of the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC) and Lead Assessor.

   The visit included a review of documents and records, in addition to an on-site inspection to evaluate the center’s compliance with the requirements of the Quality Management System in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The visit was attended by the center’s work team.

   During the closing session, Dr. Sherif Meshit commended the efficiency of the center and the distinguished performance of its staff, affirming that the center had fulfilled all requirements stipulated by the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standard.
