Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University, and Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Pharmacy successfully convened an awareness seminar titled "Towards the Sixth-Generation Warfare" on Monday, May 11, 2026. The event was held under the supervision of Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aassar, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Naglaa Abdel Aziz Al-Shetany, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs. The seminar was organized by the Faculty’s Student Welfare Department, led by Ms. Fotna Ziada, in cooperation with the General Administration of Student Welfare at Tanta University.
The seminar featured a lecture by Prof. Qonswa, Professor of Political Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts, Tanta University. During his presentation, Prof. Qonswa provided an in-depth analysis of the concept of the Sixth-Generation Warfare, detailing its modern tools and methodologies. He explained that these strategies rely on intellectual and psychological influence to shape public consciousness, using advanced technology, mass media, and social media platforms, while simultaneously presenting significant intellectual and cultural challenges.
The seminar concluded with a high level of engagement from the attendees, who participated in vibrant discussions and thought-provoking inquiries. The atmosphere was defined by constructive dialogue and exchange of perspectives.
