Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, convened the first session of the Faculty Council in the new academic year 2025/2026. It was chaired by Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aasr, Faculty Dean, with membership of the faculty’s vice deans, heads of scientific departments, professors who are Council members. The session was held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 in the Meeting Hall at the Dean’s Office.

    Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aasar, Faculty Dean, opened the session by extending her highest appreciation and gratitude to Prof. Sahar Mohamed El-Haggar, former Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in recognition of her sincere efforts, valuable time, and dedication during her tenure in the position at the faculty.

   Then, the Council proceeded to review the items on the agenda, which included matters related to the Education and Students Affairs Committee, files of Cultural Relations and Academic Staff Affairs, and the Quality Assurance Unit. The Council also discussed the reports of the Postgraduate Studies and Research Committee, files regarding the registration and formation of supervisory committees for Master’s and PhD students, in addition to applications for academic scholarships.

The session concluded at 1:00 p.m.
