Graduation Ceremony of the 47th Cohort at Faculty of Pharmacy and the 1st Cohort of the “PharmD” Program

    Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, Tanta University President, and Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid El-Aasar, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, and in the presence of Prof. Naglaa Abdel Aziz El-Shetany, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Eman Goda Khedr, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, along with a distinguished gathering of academic staff members, teaching assistants, Dr. Hany El-Khayyat, Secretary-General of the Faculty, many administrators, and the students’ families, Faculty of Pharmacy celebrated on Sunday, September 14, 2025, the graduation of its 47th cohort. This occasion also marked the graduation of the very first cohort of the “PharmD” Program. The event was held at the Grand Conference Hall at the Medical Campus.

    The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Hany Donia, Head of the Pharmacists’ Syndicate in Gharbia Governorate, as well as several deans and vice deans of Tanta University faculties, who joined the graduates in celebrating this special day.

   In her speech, Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid El-Aasar, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, expressed her great joy on this day, which culminates the students’ journey of dedication and hard work. She affirmed that the faculty is proud of its graduates, considering them a connection linking knowledge with practical application in the labor market and scientific research. She also urged the graduates to continue learning and developing themselves in order to better serve society and elevate the profession.

    The ceremony also featured the honoring of outstanding students and top achievers of the cohort in recognition of their academic excellence and efforts throughout their years of study. In addition, students who received the Prof. Wagih Awwara Award in Pharmacology were honored in an atmosphere of joy and pride.

   The event concluded with extending the warmest wishes to the graduates for a future filled with success and achievement, with hopes that they will always be worthy representatives of their university and their homeland.
