At Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, the first "Job Performance Evaluation Committee" for department heads at the faculty held a meeting on Saturday, May 31, 2025. This occurred as part of the university's commitment, under the leadership of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, to adopt institutional excellence and standards of educational quality and job performance as a methodology for the university's development.

   The committee was formed under the chairpersonship of Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aasar, Faculty Dean, and included the following members: Prof. Sahar Mohamed El-Haggar, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Naglaa Abdel Aziz El-Shetany, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Eman Goda Khedr, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Tahany Allam, Manager of the University Job Performance Evaluation Unit; and Dr. Hani El-Khayyat, Faculty Secretary-General. Also present were Assist. Prof. Sally El-Sayed Abo Resha, Manager of the Quality Assurance Unit; Assist. Prof. Maisara El-Bosairy, Deputy Manager of the Quality Assurance Unit; and Dr. Engy El-Ekhnawy, International Ranking Coordinator at the faculty.

    During the meeting, the Faculty Dean confirmed that this evaluation will be conducted periodically to ensure the achievement of the desired objectives of the faculty departments, in alignment with the goals of both the faculty and the university, in pursuit of development and to maintain the ongoing achievement of institutional excellence, aiming to provide outstanding service to students and academic staff members.
