Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aasar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tanta University; Prof. Naglaa El-Shetany, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Eman Goda Khedr, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; received Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, Tanta University President, during his inspection tour of Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University. The visit was attended by Prof. Mohamed El-Nemr, Director of the Main Center for Electronic and Cognitive Services; Dr. Hany El-Khayyat, Secretary-General of Faculty of Pharmacy, and several department directors at the faculty, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
During the inspection tour, Prof. Mohamed Hussein inaugurated the developments at the faculty, which included several administrative offices that provide services for students and graduates, in line with the latest educational quality standards. Additionally, the improvements aim to provide an attractive and comfortable environment for students and academic staff members, enhancing the educational and research process.
His Excellency also inspected the educational process at the faculty’s educational pharmacy, highlighting the importance of its role in practical training for students. Moreover, He affirmed the need to develop and equip it with the latest technologies to ensure that students receive the best practical training that qualifies them for the labor market.
Furthermore, University President inspected the workflow at the faculty’s General Exam Control System and reviewed the mechanism of the electronic grading system. He listened to a detailed explanation of the procedures followed in the control system to ensure transparency and accuracy in recording and compiling grades. He confirmed the importance of this system in accelerating the grading process, reducing human errors, and achieving fairness among students.
