The activities of the "Student Leadership Development" course at Faculty Pharmacy began under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President; Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aasar, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy; and Prof. Naglaa Abdel Aziz Al-Shetani, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and Coordinator of Student Activities at the faculty. The course was held in the attendance of Prof. Eman Goda Khedr, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Ms. Fotna Ziada, Director of Student Welfare at the faculty; Ms. Rasha Fawzi Ghazal, Director of Student Unions Department at the General Administration of Student Welfare; and the staff of the administration.
The "Student Leadership Development" course was delivered by Prof. Mohamed Taha, Professor of Fundamentals of Education at Faculty of Education, Tanta University, on Thursday, May 8, 2025, in the seminar hall on the ground floor of the faculty.
The event was attended by the student Ali Radi, enrolled in the fifth level of the PharmD Bachelor’s program and President of Student Union at Faculty of Pharmacy, members of the Faculty Union Council, as well as students of the "For Egypt" student group and other student entities.
The course was inaugurated by Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aasar, Faculty Dean, who welcomed the guests and expressed thanks and appreciation to Prof. Magdy Wakwak, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the university, for his role in the student activities. She also commended the efforts of the General Administration of Student Welfare at the university, under the leadership of Mr. Mohamed Al-Qasir, for organizing such courses that develop and enhance the concept of leadership and the qualities and skills of a successful leader.
At the conclusion of the course, Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aasar, Faculty Dean, extended her sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Mohamed Taha for his effective role in the course.
