Start of the Awareness Seminar "Financial Inclusion – Opportunities and Challenges" for Administrative Staff and Students at Tanta Faculty of Pharmacy

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, Tanta University President, and under the supervision of Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aasr, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, and Prof. Naglaa Abdel Aziz El-Shetany, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and Coordinator of Student Activities at the faculty, the Student Welfare Department managed by Mrs. Fotna Ziada, organized an awareness seminar for administrative staff and students titled "Financial Inclusion – Opportunities and Challenges".

    The seminar was delivered by Prof. Ramadan Maan, Executive Manager of the University’s Main Center for Digital Transformation and Financial Inclusion, and Dr. Mohamed El-Danaf, Manager of the Financial Inclusion Unit at the university, in cooperation with the Nile Pioneers Initiative Team – Agricultural Bank of Egypt. The event was held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., in the Seminar Hall on the ground floor of the faculty.

    The seminar aimed to introduce the concept and importance of financial inclusion, discuss the main challenges facing the achievement of financial inclusion in the Arab world, present the available opportunities to enhance financial inclusion through technology, and exchange experiences and successful practices in this field.
