Tanta Faculty of Pharmacy’s Participation in the Iftar Ceremony for International Students at Tanta University

On Wednesday, March 24, 2025, Tanta University organized an Iftar ceremony for international students under the patronage and in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University. The event was attended by a distinguished group of faculty deans and vice deans, Dr. Shaheera Sharaf El-Din, Manager of the International Students Welfare Unit at the University, and several international students from various faculties.

    Upon the kind invitation of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aasr, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, and Prof. Naglaa Abdel Aziz Al-Shetani, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, participated in the Iftar. They were accompanied by Lamis Omar Hashem (first-level student), Noon Al-Noor Al-Tohami (second-level student), and Noor Malik Al-Amin (second-level student) from the Sudanese community, who are enrolled in the PharmD Bachelor’s Program at Faculty of Pharmacy.

    Prof. Mohamed Hussein expressed his joy at attending the Iftar ceremony, highlighting the university’s commitment to providing an exceptional and comprehensive educational environment for international students. He also affirmed the university’s efforts to organize various activities that aim to foster humanitarian and social values within the campus.

    Furthermore, he underscored the university’s role in offering professional training and practical learning opportunities for international students through academic programs and support services designed to meet the demands of both local and international labor markets.
