On Sunday, March 16, 2025, Tanta University held its annual Iftar banquet, attended by MG. Ashraf El-Gendy, Gharbia Governor; Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of the University; Dr. Mahmoud Issa, Deputy Governor of Gharbia; Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; along with several security, regulatory, executive, press, and media leaders in Gharbia Governorate. Also in attendance were deans and vice deans of faculties, executive managers of the main university centers, academic staff members, employees, and representatives of various ministries in Gharbia, as well as a distinguished group of press and media figures.
Upon the kind invitation of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of the University, Faculty of Pharmacy was represented at the event by Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aasr, Faculty Dean; Prof. Naglaa El-Shetany, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Eman Goda Khedr, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Ahmed Abdel Hamid Goda, Acting Head of Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology and Coordinator of the Clinical Pharmacy Program; Dr. Haitham Omar Tawfik, Lecturer of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Supervisor of the Central Research Laboratory; Dr. Soleiman Saleh El-Tokhy, Lecturer of Pharmaceutical Technology and Manager of the Faculty’s Excellence Unit; Dr. Hani Ahmed El-Khayyat, Faculty Secretary-General; and Mr. Khedr El-Sayed Khedr, Manager of Public Relations.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein expressed his pleasure in welcoming security, regulatory, executive, press and media figures to the university’s annual Ramadan Iftar. He highlighted the event’s role in enhancing human and social values that contribute to creating a strong and cooperative community. He also commended the outstanding organization of the event and the Ramadan atmosphere that pervaded the university, extending his gratitude to those responsible for organizing the banquet in such a perfect manner, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and affection within the university community.
