Launching the Activities of the Symposium "1000 Changes for the Love of Egypt" at Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University

As part of the presidential initiative "1000 Days of Real Change", and in alignment with the state's approach to implement diverse programs, activities, and services targeting all age groups to make a difference, a symposium titled "1000 Changes for the Love of Egypt" was launched at Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University.

   The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, Acting President of Tanta University and Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Mahmoud Farok Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aasar, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy.

   The symposium was supervised by Prof. Sahar Mohamed El-Haggar, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Assist. Prof. Amal Abdel Sattar, Executive Manager of the Main Center for Public Community Services, in coordination with the Training Unit at Faculty of Pharmacy, led by Dr. Walaa Negm, Lecturer of Pharmacognosy. The event was organized by the Student Welfare Administration at Faculty of Pharmacy and took place on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in Seminar Hall on the sixth floor at the faculty.

    The session was delivered by Assist. Prof. Amal Abdel Sattar, Executive Manager of the Main Center for Public Community Services at the University, and was attended by academic staff members, assistant staff, administrative personnel, and students.

   The key topics covered by the symposium included child marriage, empowerment of female breadwinners, child labor, maternal and child health, reproductive health and family planning, business incubators, and youth’s innovations.
