Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aasr, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy at Tanta University and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Pharmaceutical Services Center, signed a joint cooperation protocol between the center and Dr. Hani Ahmed El-Sheikh, representative of the Egyptian Association of Exporters and Producers of Dietary Supplements, in the context of supporting community and research collaboration.

   The signing ceremony took place on Thursday, February 20, 2025, in the Dean’s Office Meeting Room, in the presence of Prof. Sahar Mohamed El-Haggar, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Naglaa Abdel Aziz El-Shetani, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Assist. Prof. Amany Ragab, Assistant Professor of Pharmacognosy and Manager of the Training Unit; Assist. Prof. Dalia Hisham Abdel Kader, Manager of the Pharmaceutical Services Center (PSC).

   It is worth noting that the Egyptian Association of Exporters and Producers of Dietary Supplements includes numerous dietary supplement manufacturing facilities that are certified under the National Food Safety Authority’s (NFSA) white list, as well as several companies producing NFSA-licensed pharmaceutical goods.

   At the end of the event, Dr. Hani Ahmed El-Sheikh toured the Pharmaceutical Services Center at Faculty of Pharmacy.
