On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, the 18th Scouting and Guiding Festival for Rover Scouts of Tanta University commenced in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University; deans and vice deans of faculties; and Prof. Magdy Wakwak, General Coordinator of Student Activities. Twelve faculties from the university participated in the event.

   The event was attended by Prof. Mona Abdel Hamid Al-Aasar, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy; Prof. Naglaa Abdel Aziz Al-Shetany, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Mrs. Fotna Zeyada, Manager of the Student Welfare Department; Mr. Khedr Al-Sayed Khedr, Manager of the Public Relations Department; Mrs. Fatema Al-Sayed Al-Araby and Mr. Semon Samir Thabet, Supervisors of the Faculty’s Rover Scout Unit; along with the faculty’s Rover Scout Team.

   The festival featured a variety of activities, including scouting programs in public service and community development, as well as religious, cultural, artistic, and sports activities.
