Strategic Objectives

 
The Unit aims to achieve ultimate goals and strategic objectives of the Faculty through abiding by the following:

2 Creating a system for performance assessment and analysis

§  Effective bonuses system that ensures everyone's participation in elements of annual self-assessment   
3 Forming teams for self-assessment and continuous improvement §  To activate the role played by internal review and quality systems management to apply the international specifications of ISO 9001-2008
4 Disseminating awareness and training in the field of quality assurance and qualification for accreditation 

 

§  To disseminate quality culture among personnel at the Faculty (including teaching staff, assistant staff, students and administrators)

To hold training courses, workshops and symposium in the area of quality 
§  To prepare trainers in the field of quality management through attending the courses organized by the Authority of Quality Assurance
§  
To organize training courses for teaching staff members in order to prepare specifications of academic programs and curricula, writing reports on curricula and academic programs, in addition to measurement, assessment and evaluation
5 Technical support of departments to disseminate quality thought

 

§  To Activate unit's coordinators committee at department and administrations

To help departments prepare self-study and to make specifications of academic programs, curricula and prepare annual self-assessment  
§  To write reports on curricula and academic programs in addition to measurement, assessment and evaluation

 

6 Coordination among all scientific and administrative departments §  To strengthen the concept of teamwork inside the Faculty

Annual self-assessment of performing activities of the Faculty: accomplishment of mission, administration structure and methods, teaching staff, academic criteria and educational programs, quality of education opportunities, research, participation with community, quality management, and expanding use of electronic systems, telephone networks and the internet
7 Accountability and liability

8 Applying for accreditation

 

§  To achieve criteria of the National Authority of Quality Assurance
 
§  To pay guidance visit to of the National Authority of Quality Assurance

To implement the executive plan of Continuous Improvement and Qualifying for Accreditation Project (CIQAP)  
9 Creating a system that ensures continuity of work at the unit § To find financing resources for the Unit (grants, endowments, donations, etc…) 
§  To create effective and transparent system of rewards that ensures everyone's participation in tasks of the Unit 
§  To offer profitable services to the University through: technical consultations, training courses and conducting studies .
