To consolidate the societal cooperation between the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tanta University and the Archdiocese of Tanta and its dependencies for the Coptic Orthodox, the venerable Paula, Metropolitan of Tanta and its dependencies, received on Sunday, April 10th, 2022 a delegation from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, headed by Prof. Nahla El-Asmawy, and in the presence of Prof. Amal Mustafa Abu Qamar, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Amal Mohamed Kabash, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Sahar Muhammad Al-Hajjar, Vice Dean for Community Affairs and Environmental Development, Ms. Prof. Iman Gouda Khader, Head of the Biochemistry Department and Coordinator of the Diploma in Nutrition in Health Care and Clinical Pharmacy Program, Prof. Mona Al-Aasar, Head of the Pharmacology Department and Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, and Mr. Peter Samir Ayoub, Director of the Marketing and Excellence Management Units.
During the meeting, a cooperation protocol was signed between the two parties to support the astronomy project adopted by the Archdiocese, which aims to develop the capabilities and talents of people with Down syndrome with special abilities.
