Within the framework of Tanta University’s celebrations of the Golden Jubilee and under the patronage of Prof. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University announces its participation in the activities of the sixth phase of the “Child’s University” program on Monday, June 27, 2022, within the framework of joint cooperation between Tanta University and the Academy Scientific Research, under the patronage of Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Mahmoud Saqr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research, and Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, President of Tanta University.

 

The faculty of Pharmacy is preparing to organize a workshop and a training course for children of the University of the Child (9-11 years old) to introduce the composition and types of pharmaceutical preparations and prepare some simple pharmaceutical forms, as well as introducing the role of the pharmacist in guiding the patient about the ways to use the different drug forms and ways to save them and the need to adhere to the drug’s expiry date and not take any medications without a medical prescription. This is under the supervision of Prof. Nahla Al-Ashmawy, Dean and Prof. Sahar Al-Hajjar, Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs.
